Application with a German university entrance qualification

You hold a German university entrance qualification only if you have attended

  • a german high school
  • or a german high school in abroad - graduated with "Abitur"
  • a Bachelor or Master degree at a German university

Please note: Applicants who successfully took an assessment test in any preparatory program (i.e. a "Studienkolleg" T or W course ) do not hold a German university entrance qualification but a subject based international university entrance qualification. They need to apply at TU Berlin via uni-assist.e.V. Click here for further information.

If you want to study at TU Berlin normally you need to have a university entrance qualification certificate (typically called "Abitur") or a subject-related entrance qualification certificate.
