Refund of administrative fee

You may be eligible for a full or partial refund of fees under certain circumstances if you meet some criterias.

For a refund of fees for the winter semester 2019/20 please download the form for fee refund (see sidebar) and and submit your request at Campus Center during office hours or via mail to "Servicebereich Bachelor"  (undergraduate admission) or "Servicebereich Master" (graduate admission).

    Please note: For a refund of fees for the summer semester 2020 please use the TU portal.

    Refund of fees is possible in case of:

    • Overpayment
    • Leave of absence
    • Officially withdrawn (enrollment has not been realized)
    • Termination of enrollment (enrollment or re-registrition has already been realized)

    Please note:

    For a dispensation for the Semesterticket contribution you have to submit another form. Read more >>

    Refund of fees: full, partial or none

    If you will get full or partial refund depends on date of application.

    Termination of enrollment before beginning of the semester (1st of April / 1st of October)

    • Fee for "Studentenwerksbeitrag": full refund
    • Fee for "Studierendenschaft": full refund
    • Fee for "Semesterticket" and "Sozialfond": full refund

     

    Termination of enrollment before beginning of the semester (1st of April / 1st of October) and before lecture period is starting

    • Fee for "Studentenwerksbeitrag": full refund
    • Fee for "Studierendenschaft": full refund
    • Fee for "Semesterticket" and "Sozialfond": full refund only if your Semesterticket and Campus Card have not yet been issued, partial refund for every month without enrollment

     

    Termination of enrollment after beginning of the semester and after lecture period has started

    • Fee for "Studentenwerksbeitrag": no refund
    • Fee for "Studierendenschaft": full refund
    • Fee for "Semesterticket" and "Sozialfond": full refund only if your Semesterticket and Campus Card have not yet been issued, partial refund for every month without enrollment
