Continuing a formerly canceled Master's program at TU Berlin (Wiedereinschreibung)
If you were already enrolled for the same Master's program at TU Berlin and have been exmatriculated, you can only apply again for the next higher semester (Wiedereinschreibung). A downgrading is not possible.
The application for a higher semester is only possible for a semester within the standard period of study (Regelstudienzeit).
Required application documents
You will find all required documents in our checklist. You have to submit these documents in due time and form at Graduate Admissions or uni-assist.
You have apply for the placement into the appropriate term of studying (Fachsemester) at the responsible examination board of TU Berlin with credit transfer application - part A and B incl. a proof of your obtained credits.
If you want to apply for a higher semester, you have to submit the credit transfer application - part A with the placement into the appropriate term of studying (Fachsemester) by the responsible examination board of TU Berlin at Graduate Admissions. Please consider point 8 „Application for a higher semester“ of our checklist. Your credit transfer application - part B incl. the proof of your obtained credits will stay at the examination board.
If you want to apply for a Master's program without restriction on admission, you do not have to submit the credit transfer application - part A with the placement into the appropriate term of studying (Fachsemester) by the responsible examination board of TU Berlin.

Where do I have to apply?
Applicants who have passed or will pass their primary university degree (bachelor's degree) at TU Berlin apply directly at Graduate Admissions.
Applicants who have passed or will pass their primary university degree (bachelor's degree) not at TU Berlin apply via uni-assist.
When can I expect a decision?
Places for higher semesters will generally be allocated by the beginning of the semester (middle of October / middle of April).
In case of admission the specific entry qualification (primary university degree) has to be checked as well by the responsible examination board.
